I like to go to thrift store or vintage store sometimes -



I found these shoes at a thrift store.


This is a funky beaded bag, found at a vintage store.

This is an unique summer hat.
A lot of lace layers on the crown, the body is made by linen. Fun and romantic detail -
perfect vacation hat.

Peony

This is the time for the season of flowers in Vancouver.
One of my favorite flower is Peony.
I love the shape and smell as well, lemony and fresh, rose kind.
I bought peony today - it is still budding.
Can't wait to smell it.

A day trip to Montreal

I was back to Vancouver from trip to ottawa, as I wrote before.
Now I am drinking a tea with beautiful pantone mug I found at the trip.
This is my travel note from the trip.

Me and my boyfriend and his brother took a day trip to Montreal by car.
Montreal is a beautiful city, they have French inspired culture.
I was surprised at the city was very European than I thought, people are friendly even I can't speak French.
We didn't know well the city, at first we walked from a parking somewhere in down town and coincidentally found a pub my boyfriend's father worked at in 70's. Their father lived in Motreal long time before.


We reached rue sherbrooke.Looked like there is a business and department store district.
My boyfriend checked perfumes as usual he does (he is a big perfume fun).
After a while in the area, we took metro to Sant Lurent. I liked the color of metro.



Sant Lurent looked like a cool- hip town. There are vintage stores and indie desighner stores.
While walk around there and we went Patati Patata to get good poutine.
There is a cool - street inspired pub.


And then we walked and walked through the town, reach to rue Saint-Paul Ouest.
People called there, "old Montreal"


There are a lot of high-end restaurants and cafes in old beautiful buildings.
We found a cool boutique called reborn.

Their clothing are beautiful, accessories are very niche.

We wanted to look at more places but couldn't go because of we had just short time to stay.
Well probably we discover a lot for a day trip.

Back to West

I just got home from our trip -
I went Ottawa for a week.
East coast of Canada was very different. Lots of old European inspired buildings and pub culture in the city.
We went to national gallery, an exhibition "The 1930s the making of newman"
I was very happy I can look at Dali or Picaso's pieces close to the paintings.
The period was terrible, people were in confusion of the war. But I love those years of paintings - they have darkness, heavy, thick, craziness.



Well- let's talk abut foods there,
I eat a lot of carbohydrates - beavertail (fried pastry, I eat lemon and sugar taste), poutine(french fries with gravy sauce, cheese) ..
I ate a lot of foods - even I can't eat very much of greasy food, I forgot about it.
Not only those street foods, one day my boyfriend's parents took us to a fancy french restaurant in Quebec called "les fougeres"
The menus are of course great, also there are cute approaches, flowers on every dishes. Those flowers are fresh from their beautiful garden.


I went to other places too, I will write about it later if I had a chance.

I'm in Ottawa

Now I am in Ottawa, this is my first time visiting - here is very different from Vancouver.

The down town looks kinda European - Canals and market, a lot of Pubs- it remind me when I visited in Denmark.

This is first day I didn't check out the city so much -  I will keep reporting about my trip as well as I can.

enchanted perfume

I like perfumes, but am not huge fun of perfume as my boyfriend as I wrote before.
I don't need many of smells, because I want to use just a few of my favorite smells like my identical smell -

Well yesterday I found an another favorite smell at a clothing store - once I sprayed it on my wrist, I felt calm, warm, nostalgic - or some wonderful feeling.

I just went to the store to look around clothing and I didn't expect to find a perfume, so I couldn't buy it - I decided to save money for having the perfume next time.
What kind of perfume is it?
I don't want to tell - its my secret.
