Tambourine world

The other day, my boyfriend needed tambourine for his song, we went a music store to buy it. 

There are some selection of the tambourines,  toy like ones to high quality professional ones.

We tried couple and I was surprised every style of tambourines had different sound, and we tried them all, like tambourine critics.

Of cause high price one has excellent sound, 

even the regular ones had different sounds, we tried to compare them for a while - at last he choose regular one.

Then I discovered tambourine world?!

Dreamy show in woods

We went Flaming lips and Ariel Pink's Haunted graffiti show.

It was at a big park, Stanley Park.

Our rock hero, Ariel pink's Haunted graffiti.We were waiting to see this show!

The Flaming lips. A lot of balloons and lights,they created an another world during the show,it was amazing.

Random note

I was listening a record I didn't listen for a long time -

Then I knew this album was such modern Jazz inspired.

When I was working,

and I realized this is not only a work, kind of meditation for me too.

Got a sign!

We went Ariel pink's haunted graffiti show at biltmore, it was a good show.

My boy friend got his sign on a frisbee!

Forest City Lovers

I saw their mini-live at neptoon records.

I didn't know the band since then and now I'm checking their schedule.. Cute band.

Looking for a song

I watched movie called "Repries" and liked a song.

I forgot about it for a long time and the other day, I reminded it when I heard the song at a coffee shop.

It was like waking up a part of my mind.

Digging records

There was a big record show happened on last Sunday, it was fun.
A lot of record venders and folks in a hall, I couldn't even check all venders but still I could find some good ones.
My boyfriend found really rare movie soundtrucks, even they are around $100, are already sold.
I like vinyls because they sounds better and have more spilit of the music than MP3 or CDs to me.
I like to look at album covers, it is like a bonus to buy music.

phlly soul

I was interested in to make collection those kind(phlly soul) of records before, but then I was really into roots reggae music, so I couldn't buy those records.It was long time ago.
Now I am interested in to listen philly soul again. Probably it will be my second record collection.
