Weekend get away

I went Vancouver island last weekend to visit friends.

It was foggy in the morning.

Luckily, I could see the sun.

We went Chou chou in Victoria.

..and trails.

My friends, they have a house with their garden in Sooke.

Branches for the wood stove.

  This place is a different area, in the end of the island, I often came to through stones.

I saw incredible sunset in a way home, was a bonus.

After the storm

Yesterday's weather was like a storm came to our town..

After the storm, I saw a rainbow and sun came up in the late afternoon.

I walked down to a park then I saw many colours of leaves flying with cold wind. 

The lighting was amazingly gold, the scene was like a dream. 

Btw..I'll have a mini-hat show at a French style cafe called "coco et olive" on Main street.

Double rainbow appeared in Vancouver yesterday.

I bet the end is in front of my apartment.

I could see perfect half circle.

At an old hospital..

Found a treasure.

A humming bird with a red belly came to me and flew away.

It is still January, isn't it?!

2010-2011

In the end of the 2010, we had a lot of beer, after hours,

spend time at six acres untill 11:30.

We walked to home to wait midnight.

In the middle of a bridge, the year 2011 started.

We could hear people screaming and sounds of fire works.

Colours

Most I like about summer is fresh veggies and fruits - fun to cook, their colours are amazing.

Blueberries from a farmer's stand.

Blueberry crisp with the berries.

Beets, from farmer's market last ttime I wrote.

Salad, with the beets and water cress, cranberry goat cheese and nuts.

Mini - Farmer's market

This morning, I went mini - farmer's market at a school near by.

There are beautiful veggies and fruits, breads, homemade jams, honey -

Can't wait to have them for tonight's dinner.

Great alleyway found

I found a beautiful red table on an alleyway!

Sound like it doesn't fancy, but I sometimes like to find interiors from a road, somebody's through aways.

My friend found a pair of antique Empress chests, it was in Japan but her fonding was like a treasure.
