Last week

Mini hat show

My mini hat show has been extended again.
It supposed to be until the end of Dec, it will be until early week of Feb-
I displayed new hats few days ago.

 Thanks @ a french style cafe, coco et olive on Main.

Frosted window- my mini show has been extended

My mini - show, Frosted window is ongoing now - 

it has been extended till late December.

It is at a French style cafe, Coco et olive on Main street.

Their space is filled with cool + rustic interiors and arts.

Foods and treats are really good, I'll recommend to try their quiche.

Anyways, don't miss to try my hats too!

After the storm

Yesterday's weather was like a storm came to our town..

After the storm, I saw a rainbow and sun came up in the late afternoon.

I walked down to a park then I saw many colours of leaves flying with cold wind. 

The lighting was amazingly gold, the scene was like a dream. 

Btw..I'll have a mini-hat show at a French style cafe called "coco et olive" on Main street.

Long walking

After I finished my work, I took a long walk.
It was about 1.5 hours,around 2km for a round.

I was thinking to go to a bakery which has really good breads. It is a bit far from my place, over a hill, I can't go there often.


Then in the middle of a walk to the bakery, I found a tiny cafe on a street.
I heard it opened on November last year, it is cosy and nice place.

I had a cup of coffee at the cafe and walked to the bakery.

New shoes..

The sun just sometimes comes up, almost everyday is rain.

It's Vancouver's fall-winter weather.

Beautiful ruby red tea at elysian.

Got new shoes, but I should be aware of the rain when I wear them..

Sunday walk

I took a Sunday walk.

There is a festival called "Pride Parade" . We saw it from the other side of the ocean.

Walked down to a beach.

There are many kind of dogs.

Coffee,book and..

If I want to get new inspirations, usually go to book stores or go for a walk.

I went to downtown, had some coffee and fig+blackberry tart at Vancouver art gallery cafe.

After the coffee, first I went a second hand bookstore and found Araki Nobuyoshi's book called sentimental journey .

I was planning to go for a walk around more before I found the book but changed my mind, just went straight to home because I wanted to read it a.s.a.p.

The book is about his life story until he lost his wife.

French cafe afternoon + a night on the 4th street

In the afternoon, I went to a french cafe, coco et olive.
Their sweets are fresh from the oven, the cafe was covered by rich, sweet smell.
I grab a window table and spend relaxing time.
After the cafe, I went for a walk to a beach, but in the middle way to the beach, I found a park I've never been. I was stay there while and reading a book.


















In the night, I went to a bar on 4th street with my friend.
She is an University student and a lot younger than me.
Anyways, it was fun to talk, great girl's meeting.

Walking down on the main street

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day, I went to my favorite coffee shop to wait my friend.She is one of my best friend and will move to the other city.

















Luckly I could grab the table with great view.
When I came to the cafe before, the table was always taken by the other customer.
I was sipping bitter coffee,I like to add milk for the cofee usually, but I was feeling like to have it without milk.
Anyways she came and we walked down on the street.
Recently I didn't check the street, we found some cool new stores.

In the evening we went to an Izakaya with her husband.
Zakkushi is popular Japanese izakaya, their foods are so cool and good.
We had some drink and talked a lot -
I am sure I can meet them again sooner or later, but I felt missing them when I make a hug and said cheers.

Spring walk

It was a beautiful sunny Sunday.I took a walk to get spring inspirations.

 

Tiny spring flowers in every people's gardens and backyards.

 

Looked like a fat cat is enjoying sunshine.

He is always in the same spot, I am calling him "Boo chan" .

I like their sophisticated sense of interiors.

I bought a French style (probably?)marshmallow at a cafe.

It has a long- stick shape, powdery color and looks unique. 

Do you want to know the taste of the marshmallow?

It has a franboise flavor, besides about it -  as I am not a marshmallow expert,  I am not sure what is the difference in between with it of regular marshmallow and the french one - but I am sure it taste like "a sweet dream".
